      “Gracious Creator or Creation” is an original stage play written by Gloria Surage of Toronto Canada. (‘This piece was inspired by pain and discomfort as a healing tool for Me, I prayed in tears as the pain continues, I would focus on the things I enjoy seeing myself doing the most: dancing, Empowering, Inspiring and impacting others with my time and talent, gives me the strength to overcome my infirmities. Mine you this is “NOT” a religious play it is a play for the entire family Christian and nun Christian.

 The piece comprises of four (3) main characters – Gloria Surage as Pauline Johnston, mother, who struggles with her own emotion of wanting to dance and the thought of not getting the opportunity to and also   the thought of not seeing her son again. They had a quarrel and the last words he said to her was “I am never coming back” while helping, advising, and caring for others, David Smith as Robert Johnson, A construction worker, (married to Pauline for 20 years always avoids talking about their son), Judy British Mary a busy-body neighborhood friend who happens to be a kleptomaniac, as well as a single mom, who will do anything except going on welfare. Others characters includes: King Surage as Joshua Pauline’s young son (very mischievous), Brenda Grant as Rose a roses cultivator and Mitzie Hyer as Rose (Pauline’s daughter.  Special guest artist:  Singer song writer producer promoter Jimmi Freshh.

The play run-time is 1 ½ hrs and combines drama, with a humongous serving of tasteful humor and dancing.
