About Organizer

Njeri Plato established Delou Africa Dance Ensemble in 1987.  D.A.D.E. has established itself as on of the premier traditional African performing arts companies in South Florida.  We collaborate with academic, cultural, civic and social entities across South Florida, to showcase African dance, drum, music, and history that is influenced by the presence of the showcase Africa Diaspora.  Since then, Delou Africa, Inc. was established in 2010 by D.A.D.E. to expand our brand to include a more in depth community opportunity for participants and audiences to learn about the rich traditions of Africa through the arts.
