What's the Carnival Schedule?
Parade Starts at 10am and usually raps up around 6pm, Masquerader should be there at least 1 hour before your band leaves
Marshalls and Security
Know your section leader and their helpers, this will go a long way in enjoying the parade. There will be a number of marshal, available to assist you have a good time, and to be a health and safety presence. There will also be a professional security team. Only participants with a Louie saldenah Mas-K club costume or a Band T-shirt are allowed to participate with our band.
Where's the meeting point?
We meet at Band assembly area within the Exhibition grounds.
Is Food included?
Yes. We feature favourites such as Jerk Chicken, rice & peas with coleslaw. , Rice and chicken. Menu may vary by sections.
Refreshments included?
Lots of water.
Where are the Toilets?
There are toilets located at different points along the carnival route. The DJ will make clear announcements when we approach each, you will have enough time to visit and return.
Should I carry Valuables?
No. We recommend valuables are left at home.
What about Footwear?
Toronto carnival route is about 5 KM long. You shall be jumping, gyrating and having fun, please be kind to your feet and wear comfortable footwear, such as trainers
What happens if I lose my position in the route and section?
Try and find your appropriate section and jump up with them, we lose point when you mix the sections up along the judging points.
