This Is The Only Thing You Should Be Doing On St. Patrick’s Day In Toronto

Monday, Mar 06 05:19 AM

When it comes to favourite holidays, we can’t think of a better one than St. Paddy’s Day: the one day a year when it’s socially acceptable to dress up in green head-to-toe and kick back with a few (or more!) beers.

Guinness SPD, Canada’s largest St. Paddy’s Day party, is a massive 6,000-person celebration inside 11 Polson St, which will be converted into a 45,000 square foot beer hall complete with pancakes, whiskey, Irish dancers, balloon artists, and all the Guinness you can dream of.

It’s all going down on Saturday, March 18th at Toronto’s Polson Pier. The venue has two story glass walls flooding in natural light making it an Instagram-worthy destination for the city’s Irish at heart. If the weather cooperates, the party will extend outdoors where there will be a massive heated patio complete with full service bars and carnival games.

Guinness SPD will kick off the festivities with some awesome live performances by Toronto’s top DJs, along with Irish fiddler Lennan Delaney and authentic bands and Irish dancers to get you in the Irish spirit. There’s also a ton of awesome festivities like instant photo booths, face-painting, and a variety of beverage samplings.
