174th Markham Fair 2018

Markham Fair is one of Canada oldest country fairs. Since 1844 the fair has been providing the community with a showcase for talents and products in a friendly competitive spirit. Thousands look forward to this rural tradition each year.  It could be the entertainment, live music, acrobats and fireworks that keep people coming back?  Or it could also be the agricultural and horticultural displays and demonstrations.  There's also two large building of indoor shopping and outdoor vendors offering deals you can't get anywhere else near here.  By far one of the best attractions is the food.  There are taste sensations to delight both young and old, from cotton candy, caramel corn, fudge, fries, burgers and even some healthy foods.  What makes us different is that we provide a safe, family friendly place for our community to gather and experience the sights, sounds and smells of the midway, farm animals, tractor pull, horse shows and more.  Experiences you can't get from a screen, but will last a lifetime. With over 850 volunteers working on more than 75 committees, Markham Fair is the largest community based volunteer organization in Canada.
