ABOUT BAHAMAS CARNIVAL
Bahamas Carnival is a melting pot of unique expressions of the music and culture of people from around the Caribbean region. One of its defining features is its main event, the Carnival Masquerade Road Parade, which will take place on May 20, 2023. Local and international carnival enthusiasts attend this event in droves and showcase intricate costumes and freestyle dances as they “play mas” throughout the streets of Nassau. The sweet sounds of soca music saturate the streets and move with the carnival convoys of music and bar trucks along parade routes as thousands of costumed revelers carry on the festive vibe.
In addition to the Carnival Road Parade, many of other events are planned for this weekend including J’ouvert and a variety of fetes and party boat rides for you to choose from.
