Music Virtual Open Day Description

Experience what life is like as a Trinity Laban music student at our Virtual Music Open Day!

Our virtual open days are the perfect opportunity to learn more about Trinity Laban and gain a unique insight into the vibrant life of the Music Faculty. You'll be able to listen to talks from department heads and ask questions to staff and students. The day is open to students interested in foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate study.

Event Schedule

10:00-10:45 Live Welcome Talk

A brief welcome from our Director of Music Havilland Willshire, followed by an introduction to the BMus, Foundation and Postgraduate degree programmes and a live Q&A at the end.

10:45-11:30 Departmental Talks

Our music departments include Keyboard, Jazz, Wind, Brass & Percussion, Voice, Composition and Strings. Whether you're looking at Undergraduate, Foundation or Postgraduate studies, during this session you'll be able to 'meet' the head of your department, hear from current students, and ask us any questions.

11:30-12:00 Audition Panel Q&A

What are the main things we look for in an audition? What are the best ways to tackle performance anxiety? And what are the top tips for submitting a recorded audition? You'll be able to find out the answers to these and many other questions during this live Audition Panel Q&A with the heads of our music departments, admissions team and students who have already completed an audition at TL.

Ongoing

Throughout the day you'll be able to watch a campus tour and find out more about various aspects of student life at TL on our Instagram page where our current students will be answering any questions you may have. Topics include Performance Opportunities, Principle Study Tuition, Masterclasses, Careers, Student Life and Accommodation.
