Stars & Steel is the grand cultural finale of the 2026 Caribbean Music Awards Elite Experience Weekend, bringing together the unmistakable sound of steelpan with some of the Caribbean’s most exciting musical talent for a one-of-a-kind live concert experience.

Set in the birthplace of the steelpan, Stars & Steel celebrates Trinidad & Tobago’s extraordinary contribution to global music while showcasing the versatility and evolution of the instrument. The evening will blend traditional and contemporary steelpan performances with Caribbean artists, special collaborations, and reimagined versions of popular music featuring the power and energy of live steel.

Under the musical direction of Akua Leith, the concert will bridge generations and genres—from the rich traditions of pan to today’s Soca, Reggae, Dancehall and contemporary Caribbean sounds.

The evening will also recognize individuals whose work has contributed to the advancement and global visibility of steelpan through special Steelpan Legacy, Global Steelpan Ambassador and Youth in Steelpan honors.

More than a concert, Stars & Steel is a celebration of heritage, innovation and Caribbean excellence—closing Caribbean Music Awards weekend with the sound of an instrument born in Trinidad & Tobago and now recognized around the world.
